David Walliams with the First Hippo on the Moon
DAVID Walliams has met the cast of the stage production of his book The First Hippo On The Moon which is coming to Theatre Royal Winchester in May.
Walliams attended rehearsals in Eastbourne and met the cast of the bestselling children’s book, which has been adapted for the stage by Les Petits Theatre Company.
The show for young children, which features live actors, puppetry and music, tells the story of two big hippos with the one dream- to be the first on the moon. David Walliams makes a guest appearance in the show as the voice of an on-board computer.
The First Hippo On The Moon is at Theatre Royal Winchester from May 25 to 28. Tickets are available from theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or 01962 840440.
