THE One Hundred And One Dalmatians will be staged in the New Forest.

The Lyndhurst Drama and Musical Society is staging Dodie Smith's much loved children's story which opens at The Vernon Theatre, Sandy Lane, Lyndhurst tonight and runs until Saturday February 4.

Pongo, a Dalmatian dog and his Missis live with their human pets Mr & Mrs Dearly. With their first litter on the way the nervous parents become very worried with the arrival of a long lost friend of Mrs Dearly, Cruella de Vil. Cruella is an obsessive fur collector and becomes enraptured when Missis produces fifteen puppies.

Find out what happens when the puppies are kidnapped and an urgent rescue operation is mounted!

Performance dates for this great family show are Friday 27 January (7.30), Saturday 28 January (6.00), Sunday 29 January (2.30), Friday 3 February (7.30) and Saturday 4 February (2.30). Tickets are £9 adult and £6 child
