BOUNCY Bristolian comedian Russell Howard returns to the BIC this weekend for three shows at the Windsor Hall.

The critically acclaimed “Comedy Superstar” (Time Out), is one of the best-selling acts in British stand-up, who sold out when he was last at the venue in February 2014 for three stunning shows.

Host of the smash hit TV show Russell Howard’s Good News, Russell is returning to the live stage for the first time in three years with his biggest global tour to date – Round The World.

Last time his sunny brand of humour saw him launch into a two hour set with jokes about Boscombe and dogging in Throop. Much of that show also involved confessions about his inner wuss:from fears about the dark to worries about toilet habits, the comedian offered us glimpses into his most embarrassing moments.

But he tackled a huge array of topics, ranging from everything from David Cameron to weddings and movie premiers to death threats from the EDL.

And despite the diversity of the material his fun and likeability kept the laughs coming from start to finish.

This time around one reviewer has reported that audiences were practically rolling around on the floor laughing with his satirical style as he took aim at Trump, ISIS, Farage, Brexit and more.

It sounds like he is the perfect tonic for those in need of a good laugh and a night away from the doom and gloom of recent times.
