JEREMY Herrin will direct Lisa Dwyer Hogg as Emma in the much anticipated revival of Duncan Macmillan’s highly acclaimed People, Places & Things, coming to Nuffield Southampton Theatres in November.

Irish born Lisa Dwyer Hogg takes over the role from Denise Gough who won an Olivier Award for her portrayal of Emma, an actress who checks herself into rehab to combat her drug and alcohol addictions.

Lisa Dwyer Hogg’s stage credits include St Joan, After Miss Julie and The Importance of Being Earnest,. Her screen appearances include The Fall in which she played Marion Kay, the sister of serial killer Paul Spector’s first victim, Waking the Dead and The Royal,.

Emma was having the time of her life. Now she is in rehab. When intoxication is the only way to survive, how can she ever sober up? Grim, disorientating, funny and dark, Headlong Theatre’s West End hit blurs the line between truth and reality. People, Places & Things is at Nuffield from November 7 to 11.
