FAREHAM Musical Society Youth Theatre (FMSYT)will be in the festive spirit next week as they perform their next major production.

'Elf' is a musical version of the classic and much loved film “Elf The Musical” and will run at The Cort Theatre, Henry Cort Community College in Fareham.

With a fantastic cast of 46 children ranging from 8 – 17, the Youth Theatre have worked hard over the last six months to bring this much loved film to the stage. Cameron Hall plays the male lead, the energetic, comedic and vulnerable Buddy The Elf. Freya O’Grady plays the female lead, the calm, short tempered but warm Jovie.

Cameron has been involved with the youth theatre since its launch in April 2015. He has played many roles including Colonel Hathi in Disney’s Jungle Book and Drake in Honk. He has also been involved in shows with the adult society of FMS. Freya has also been with the youth theatre since the launch and has played roles including Penny in Honk. She has also performed with FMS.

Elf tells the tale of Buddy who was raised by elves in the North Pole, however he soon finds out that he is human and embarks on a journey to find his family in New York City. The show is a laugh- out- loud musical comedy and a treat for all the family.

Elf runs from Thursday October 26- Saturday October 28.
