WITH his comedy comb-over, perma-tan and political incorrectness, he’s a comic’s dream.

Now master impressionist Mike Osman is taking on his most famous character to date, President-elect Donald Trump.

“He’s heaven sent,” laughs the Southampton funnyman, who is at Southampton Mayflower on Sunday .

“Every day he says or does something which is just comedy gold dust.”

As a renowned impressionist, Mike Osman is no stranger to performing in a host of different roles. He’s taken on Prince Charles, the Trotter brothers, Sir Bruce Forsyth and his great pal Chris Tarrant, as well as Saints fans favourites Lawrie McMenemy and his famous Channon and Ball. But never a US President.

Mike, who got his big break as an impressionist on TV’s Copycats in the 80s and hosted the Capital Gold breakfast show for six years, spends one and a half hours in make up to transform himself into Trump.

Not only does he sound like him, but with the blue contact lenses, special teeth, extra long tie, star-spangled banners and Trump’s mannerisms down to a tee, he looks like him too.

It’s a welcome return to impressions for the comedian who told the Daily Echo earlier this year: “Three months ago I said to my wife, ‘I want to go back to doing impressions. I’ve become a bit of a host. I love doing the charity events but my career has always been about impressions, especially doing the impressions no-one else is doing.

“I want to be an impressionist again and I’m working on a whole load of voices. Trump has been right up there in the news along with the likes of Nigel Farage. It’s been great fun studying them.

“It’s not about being famous, it’s about making a living, supporting my family and having fun. It’s really got my excitement back for performing again.

“I just hope he doesn’t get shot, I could get four years work out of this!”
