FERNEHAM Hall in Fareham includes two premieres, the return of old favourites and a Chinese State Circus for the start of its 30th anniversary year.

Havant Chamber Orchestra open the season on February 11, featuring two international orchestral stars, and presenting a world premiere of a newly composed Ballet.

International composer and trombonist Simon Wills will be leading his new piece called Truffaldino, a ballet specifically for chamber orchestras and being given its first hearing.

The Four Musketeers (February 13 to 15) also presents another first.

Interalia Theatre's production is a new adaptation of the Dumas novel, scripted by Hampshire writer Nick Scovell, and the first show to use the venues Octagon Studio Theatre.

Straight No Chaser (February 19) are an American a capella singing sensation that arrive on the back of a sell-out tour and supporting Barry Manilow at the O2. Their show will feature songs from the group's bestselling award-winning albums, and include music from Michael Jackson to Toto as well as some unusual twists on some swing favourites. The Syd Lawrence Orchestra (February 28), led by bandleader Chris Dean, provide a night of big band magic.

March sees the appearance of psychic Colin Fry (March 1), Cornish comedian Jethro (March 5) and Moscow Ballet with Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake (March 7).

Veteran script writer, radio veteran and comedian Barry Cryer is also bringing his Butterfly Brain show to Fareham (March 9).

Musically, a spring season highlight will undoubtedly be 60s sensations The Searchers (March 22), playing all their famous hits and a selection of other favourites.

The Chinese State Circus (April 26 to 28) will perform in Fareham for the first time ever, bringing with them their sensational and unique brand of acrobatics, juggling, music and dance.

The season also features local talent, including STP Musicals production of Anything Goes (February 15 to 18), the Ker-Mel School Of Dancing Showcase 2012 (February 26), Dance Fever by the Kim Ellen School of Dance (March 10). Fareham Musical Society will be Singin’ In The Rain (March 13 to 17), Havant Symphony Orchestra (March 24) will be playing pieces from composers including Wagenaar and Brahms, and the girls and boys of the Gosport Gang Show will be providing a week of song, dance and comedy (April 10 to 14).
