Jeffrey joins all star cast at The Mayflower

IT’S Hi De Hi to The Mayflower this Christmas.

The national institution that is Jeffery Holland will join the star line up as Dame Trott in pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.

He’s best known for his portrayals of Spike in BBC TV’s Hi-De-Hi and the stuffy footman James Twelvetrees in You Rang M’Lord, but he’s also one of Britain’s leading Dames.

Wave 105 news journalist Shireen Jordan will also play the Lady in Waiting as traditional family panto returns to the theatre.

They join Julian Clary, as Spirit of the Beans, Nigel Havers as Fleshcreep, Lee Mead making his pantomime debut in the title role of Jack and comedian and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, as Simple Simon, with his cheeky companion Sam.

n Jack and the Beanstalk runs from December 22 to January 19, 2013.
