BURLESQUE, lots of laughs, festive cheer, cooking on stage – and a didgeridoo.

That’s all on offer as The Mayflower announces a new season of one-night shows.

King of the double entendre Julian Clary is looking for love on Sunday September 30.

Position Vacant: Enquire Within is dedicated to one thing.

Finding himself a husband! It’s not that he’s desperate. But he’s promised to leave no straight unturned.

Shipwrecked, a tropical Burlesque Extravaganza follows on Sunday October 4. A fun, exotic and erotic cabaret and burlesque extravaganza, it stars international Burlesque showgirl Miss Tempest Rose alongside her very special guests plucked from the crème de la crème of the burlesque, cabaret and circus worlds.

The legendary Rolf Harris, artist, musician, singer, TV presenter and one of Britain’s bestloved entertainers will be making a rare stage appearance on Wednesday December 12. This is an opportunity to hear his classic songs including Stairway to Heaven, Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport, Sun Arise, Jake the Peg and Two Little Boys. Rolf will also be painting a special portrait live on stage and be joined by his seven-piece live band including one of the biggest didgeridoos in the world.

On Friday and Saturday December 14 and 15, there are two Christmas concerts, Jingle Bell Christmas, with everything from Hollywood’s White Christmas to chart topping All I Want For Christmas Is You, and Carols by Candelight, an exquisite concert of carols and seasonal classics performed by an excellent orchestra.

The Hairy Bikers will cook up a treat on Sunday March 24, 2013. Starting with Dave and Si’s northern roots, they’ll share their rip roaring tales of decadent do’s, big dinners and culinary catastrophes.
