Award winner Blue Apple Theatre take on Hamlet
THE AWARD-WINNING Blue Apple theatre group will perform their unique adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tale of revenge and treachery in Winchester.
They will bring Hamlet to the stage at both the Theatre Royal and the city’s famous Hat Fair.
The production, pictured, features six actors with learning difficulties and Downs Syndrome, and has received rave reviews since the start of their 20-stop tour.
Hamlet is the company’s most ambitious project to date – it’s their first professional theatre production and is supported with a £24,660 Arts Council England grant.
