TRIBUTES to Elvis, Adele, Barbra Streisand and Shirley Bassey are set to join the list of legendary artists who have performed at The Mayflower this summer.
This time, the performers most celebrated seconds are to appear in Ovation Restaurant where diners can enjoy a full season of dinner and music events, along with a spot of interactive dining, this July and August.
Adam Carter, showstopper of Granada TV’s Stars in Their Eyes and now endorsed by the King Elvis Fan Club is the UK’s official Elvis Presley tribute show. Interpreting the voice, look and actions of Elvis with stunning accuracy and captivating audiences worldwide with his sensational show full of costume changes, Adam is at Ovation on August 24.
Debbie Farrell brings her Shirley Bassey Tribute Night to town on July 21. She possesses the vocal power and the looks to create a devastating aura, enabling her to provide a convincing impression of this charismatic icon of international entertainment.
Lisa Faye returns with Streisand – The Main Event on July 25 and August 2 in a musical celebration of the life, career and music of the greatest female recording artist of all time, Barbra Streisand.
Lisa takes the audience on a musical journey through a collection of songs from her first intimately recorded standard, You’ll Never Know through to award-winning films like Funny Girl and No 1 hits such as Woman In Love as well as including some lesser-known gems along the way.
Lareena Mitchell brings the No 1 tribute act to Adele on July 27 and 28, covering hits from both albums 19 and 21 including Someone Like You, Chasing Pavements, Make You Feel My Love and many more.
Max Hutton returns as Canadian crooner and swing sensation Michael Bublé, on July 3.
This show includes Bublé’s own international chart hits, Home, Everything, Lost and Haven’t Met You Yet mixed with a selection of Bublé’s trademark Big Band standards taken from his four UK chart-topping albums.
The smash hit comedy treat Ted & Co – The Dinner Show promises once again to wow audiences with highenergy improvisation on August 18.
Based on the cult TV classic Irish sitcom Father Ted, the comedy experience debuted at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival selling out every show and picking up five-star reviews and standing ovations.
The sell out sensation, Faulty Towers – The Dining Experience returns with all its mayhem on August 30 and September 2. The show is a loosely-scripted, pitch-perfect ‘13th episode’ of the TV series which develops the characters made famous by John Cleese, Prunella Scales and Andrew Sachs.
