SOUL Sister, the musical inspired by the life and times of Ike and Tina Turner, arrives at The Mayflower this autumn.

Emi Wokoma stars in the show, which features all the classics including Simply the Best, What’s Love Got to Do with It?, Proud Mary, Private Dancer and River Deep Mountain High.

With a career spanning over 50 years, her combined album and single sales total approximately 180 million copies worldwide. She has won nine Grammy Awards, and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, amongst many other accolades and honours.

Emi Wokoma’s stage credits include Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors and Porgy and Bess.

Bill Kenwright and John Miller’s new musical caused a sensation during its inception at the Hackney Empire and arrives in Southampton from November 12 to 17.
