I am PCSO 14856 Michael George and have been a PCSO in the Shirley area for the past 4 years. I have worked a variety of beats including Millbrook and Upper Shirley but i am now currently working the Freemantle and Regents Park area. I have recently joined Hampshire Constabulary as PCSO Chris Phillips 15732. After my initial training which will be towards the end of March 2014, I will be joining the Shirley south sector. Sergeant Adams and his team of officers and PCSO's are working with the community to tackle quality of life issues, and crack down on persistent offenders within the Central Shirley area.

We work with the community through regular Priority Setting Meetings, where the local issues and concerns are raised, and these become priorities for your local officers to tackle. We also work with other agencies such as Southampton City Council to reduce offending and anti-social behaviour.

This site will give you a brief overview of our current priorities, and when the next public meetings are, as well as what we are doing to tackle offending in your area.

    PCSO Phillips and PCSO Fong will be running a drop in session at Coffee #1 on Shirley High Street for anyone in the Shirley area to come along, ask any questions, get some advice or just have a chat!

    The Police are holding a 'Have Your Say Community Drop In' in St James' Park Cafe Community Room on Thursday 27th November 2014 between 15.30 - 18.00.

    This 'Drop In' gives you the opportunity to have your say on your areas Policing priorities, meet your local Policing team and it also gives you the chance to voice any questions regarding problems you may be experiencing in the area in which you live. If this is the case please come along and have your say.
