About this neighbourhood
This neighbourhood consists of housing on either side of the main High Street in West End and a large area of housing to one side of the main A27, which is based around Townhill Way. There is one primary school, St James School. This is on Monarch Way, off of Moorgreen Road. There are a number of shopping areas including the main High Street, which has a ASDA supermarket amongst other small shops. There is also a parade of shops off of Townhill Way this has a Tesco Express and various restaurants / takeaways. The Police team are PC Steel, PCSO Pritt and PCSO Coppin. We hold regular beat surgeries to engage with members of the public at Marks and Spencer / Sainsbury's. Other significant locations include The Ageas Bowl Cricket ground, Moorgreen Hospital and Hatch Grange recreation ground.
