Western Wards neighbourhood policing team

I joined Hampshire constabulary in 2001 and have covered such roles as frontline, beat officer, professional tutor, frontline sergeant and custody sergeant before returning back to the frontline again and now settling into the beat sergeants role.

I have covered Fareham and Gosport. On promotion I patrolled Farnborough, Aldershot, Bordon and Alton before returning back to sunny Fareham and Parkgate.

PC David Coleman

PC Dave Coleman is the Beat Manager for Sarisbury Green and Whiteley (Fareham Borough Council Wards) and has 19 Years front line police experience and joined the Park Gate West Safer Neighbourhood team in November 2006. He has previously served at Fareham Police station where he spent over 15 years as part of the targeted patrol team (TPT) covering roles as tutor constable, area car driver and acting Sergeant.

PC Jackie Wild

I started off in Customs and Excise doing uniformed preventative work. I worked there for 5 years until job cuts forced me to have a re-think.
I then joined Hampshire in 1992 and was assigned to Fareham TPT (Targeted Patrol Team).
I then moved to Park Gate in 1998, again with TPT and switchd to join the SNT (Safer Neighbourhood Team) in 2003.

PC Lee Paddick

I have worked with the SNT team for the past two years and throughout my 10 year service, have had the opportunity to work on response teams in Basingstoke and now here at Park Gate. I enjoy working with communities and making a difference to them to improve them making them better places to live, work and grow old in.

PCSO Andrew Leeks

I have been on the Safer Neighbourhood West Team in Park Gate since February 2007. I enjoy walking and cycling the beat as it gives me the chance to meet and talk to local people, and discuss any problems in the area that they may perceive. Before becoming a PCSO I worked behind a desk in an air-conditioned office, something which I now miss only on the hottest of days!

PCSO Tammi Ley

I have been working with the Safer Neighbourhood Team since 2009 and enjoy the community engagement and being involved in many worthwhile events and projects. I come from a Customer Service related background and find this helps with the very public facing role that I now perform. I really enjoy the role of Police Community Support Officer and enjoy assisting in the education within the Schools we cover.

PCSO Ian Wright

I have been employed as a PCSO with Hampshire Constabulary since November 2006. I have served in Gosport for 5 and a half years, recently moving to Park Gate Western Wards. I thoroughly enjoy the role and the challenges it offers: one minute I can be dealing with an elderly and vulnerable victim of crime and the other I can be dealing with groups of youths in public parks.

I have a multi-agency approach to my work and enjoy tackling issues which may have been long-term problems for communities. Please contact me on either my work mobile or e-mail to discuss any issues you may have.
