PCSO Owen Reeves
Hello, I'm Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Owen Reeves. I joined Hampshire Constabulary four years ago, and after training at Netley and a short training period in Southsea, I have been stationed at Meon Valley Police Station in Bishops Waltham as part of the Meon Valley South Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT). The communities that I have particular responsibility for are the Winchester City Council side of Whiteley, Newtown and Soberton Heath. I have regular beat surgeries in your community and attend public meetings such as Parish Council Meetings. These engagements are advertised on this site. If you have any issues you wish to discuss please come along to one of these engagements or make contact at any time by calling 101 or 0845 045 45 45. Or you can E-mail me at owen.reeves@hampshire.pnn.police.uk

About this neighbourhood

map

Beat surgeries are held between 2pm-4pm at: Durley Primary School on every second Wednesday of the month. Curdridge Primary School on every first Wednesday of the month. We also attend parish council meetings which are also held once a month to give an update on the work the Safer Neighbourhoods Team have done to resolve the Policing Priorities that are set by the parish council and local residents & businesses. We hold a data base of email addresses for people we meet around Curdridge & Durley which we use to send out crime alert emails to keep local people updated about crime in the parishes. No cold calling zones have been set up at: Gordon Road, Hole Lane & St Peters Close in Curdridge and Whitegates in Durley. The No Cold Calling Zones gave us the opportunity to speak with all the residents in this road and to give them advice on how to keep themselves safe from bogus cold callers & teach residents what to do if they come across a bogus cold caller or rogue trader.

The force responsible for policing and crime prevention in this area is Hampshire Constabulary.
