Pensioner taken to hospital following accident

AN ELDERLY woman has been rushed to hospital following a collision on a busy Hampshire motorway junction.

Her car was involved in crash with a truck on the roundabout at junction 2 of the M27 near Ower just before 5pm.

The woman, in her 70s, was taken to Southampton General Hospital, although an ambulance spokesman said her injuries were not thought to be serious.

At the same time two women suffered neck injuries following a two car crash in Burgess Road, Bitterne, Southampton. They were also taken to the city hospital.

Ime not saying that the lady was to blame for this accident in any way, but do people have to re take their test at a certain age?
