THIS is the man police want to speak to after a 14- year-old boy was robbed for just £6 at a Southampton train station.
Detectives say the teenager, from Fareham, was at St Deny’s station at about 4.30pm when he was approached by a man who asked about his phone.
The stranger snatched the phone and asked for the password.
When the boy refused, he demanded money.
Detective Constable Matt Bevan, said: “The victim, who was understandably intimidated by the situation, handed over £6.”
The thief then boarded a train travelling towards Portsmouth, and is believed to have left the train at Bitterne.
Anyone with information about the crime, which happened on Sunday, September 30, or recognises the man in the CCTV footage should contact British Transport Police on 0800 405 040.
