A TASTE of the late 19th century will be on sale at the St Leonard’s Hospice Christmas fair next month.
Pam Holden-Burnett, from Wistow, near Selby, will be selling plum puddings made from her grandmother’s 1895 recipe at the event at the Main Furniture Company’s showroom in Green Hammerton on November 17 and 18.
The fair is organised by owner Karan Main and her staff and will feature food and drink for the festive season, as well as crafts, jewellery, accessories, books, pictures, pottery and gifts.
It will be open both days from 10am to 5pm. Entry is by £1 donation towards the work of St Leonard’s Hospice.
