A TEAM of cyclists from Hampshire-based defence firm Lockheed Martin’s facility got on their bikes for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The team from the Whiteley site cycled a gruelling 140 miles from Ampthill in Bedfordshire to Whiteley.

As part of their journey they made stops in Farnborough and then Havant, to take part in Macmillan’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ initiative.

The cyclists included young graduate engineers as well as long-serving engineers and support staff, who joined colleagues from three other Lockheed Martin sites for the ride. To donate to the Lockheed Martin team visit justgiving.com/LMUKCycle12
