TWO Winchester men have been fined for threatening behaviour.

Paul Edwards and Jonathan Phillips were initially charged with threatening behaviour towards each other at a property in Jewry Street on September 1.

But no evidence was offered at Basingstoke Magistrates Court, Instead both men pleaded guilty to an allegation of threatening behaviour, with no victims specified.

Edwards, 36, of May Tree Close, Badger Farm, was fined £600, with a victim surcharge of £15 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Phillips, 28, of Broad Chalke Down, Badger Farm, was fined £400 with a victim surcharge of £15 and ordered to pay costs of £85.

Which bit is troubling you? The fact that the victim hasn't had their name splashed all over the article, or the fact that they got £30 and you didn't?
