By Sally Churchward, Senior Feature Writer
THE Southern Daily Echo has won a host of accolades at the EDF Energy Awards.
It scooped the prestigious prize for Website of the Year at the ceremony for London and the South East.
The newspaper also picked up Campaign of the Year for the ‘Clampers Get the Boot’ campaign against car clamping.
Individual awards were won for Photographer of the Year by Chris Moorhouse and Reporter of the Year by Jenny Makin, who took the prize home for the second year in a row.
This gave the Daily Echo more awards than any other newspaper at the ceremony held at the Amex Stadium in Brighton this afternoon.

Must have been a one horse race. Who on earth would have come 2nd, 3rd, or 4th behind the cut and paste merchants?
