Last call for flooding survey
PEOPLE in Hampshire are urged pass on knowledge about flooding in the heart of their communities through an online survey by Monday.
The Met Office is warning of increased risks of flooding in Hampshire this winter, with the ground already saturated from one of the wettest springs and summers on record.
Under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, the county council has new responsibilities to manage flood risks from groundwater, surface water and ordinary watercourses and must develop a risk strategy.
To help in the fight against flooding people are invited to complete an online form and inform the council about the situation where they live.
The online consultation is available until noon and can be accessed via: http://hampshire.firmstep.com/default.aspx/RenderForm/?F.Name=m84ZJMDRG7L&HideToolbar=1or http://www3.hants.gov.uk/flooding.htm.

Even without that, it's a ridiculously user-unfriendly setup. Has to be an object lesson in how not to run a public consultation.
