Firefighters tackle blaze which wrecks house
A HOME was severely damaged by a fierce fire last night.
Fire crews spent more than an hour and a half tackling the blaze that engulfed the two-storey terraced property at Harrier Close, Lee-on-the-Solent.
The ground floor was completely destroyed by the flames, while the upstairs of the house was also badly damaged.
Neighbouring properties were also affected by smoke billowing from the blaze.
But it is not thought anyone was hurt in the incident.
Fire crews from Gosport were called to the scene at 7.30pm.
Members of the station's Green Watch used breathing apparatus and high pressure jets to battle back the fire, which was declared fully extinguished shortly after 9pm.

Well we are wishing the home owners all the best and hope that everything sorts itself out in time for Christmas. Personally we as a family would love to start a collection to give the home owners something that can help them see good out of a bad situation.
