A CAMPAIGN to improve road safety awareness to reduce the number of accidents involving children in Hampshire has begun.
Bus operators, rail companies and the police, have all signed up to support Hampshire County Council’s StreetSense initiative which aims to protect youngsters aged 11 to 16. The scheme was introduced following an initial study that identified sites where there had been injury accidents involving this age group.
The transport organisations will help to spread the word by displaying posters and artwork on their buses and trains.
