Police are appealing for information to help find a deaf man who has not been seen for almost two months.

Simon Foster was last heard from on Saturday, September 28, 2012.

Mr Foster, 31, comes from Ryde, on the Isle of Wight and is also known to go by the name of ‘Herb’ or Herbert to his friends.

Simon’s family have told police his disappearance is out of character.

He is described as white, 5ft 8 with slightly receding dark hair, a slight moustache and ‘goaty’ style beard. His eyes are blue and he has very distinctive teeth, as his bottom set never grew as a child and he still has no lower teeth now.

He also has a red growth to side of nose and to ear, a scar on chin and a very large scar on left leg from hip to knee.

He is usually dressed in smart casual jeans and shirts with rolled up sleeves and a tank top.
