Officers investigating are now releasing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident, which happened around 1.40am on Thursday, September 27.

They would like to speak to the man about what happened so that if necessary he can be eliminated from their enquiries. They know he got off a train that started in London and arrived at 1.11am at Southampton Central Train Station.

They are asking anyone who recognises who the man is or the man himself to contact them.

They are asked to call Detective Constable David Wheeler at Bitterne Police Station on 101.
