Saints star Adam Lallana is set to be among footballers who will battle it out with Hampshire cricketers in a test of sporting knowledge.
Lallana will be one of a team of four Saints players attending the annual Question of Sport-style quiz and sports auction at the Mountbatten School in Romsey on November 22, at 7.15pm.
The Saints quartet will be taking on four players from Hampshire Cricket, with the cricketers currently holding a 17-11 lead in the long-standing quiz event.
The night raises funds for Jane Scarth House, a Romsey walk-in centre which offers help to anyone whose life has been affected by cancer, and teaching charity the Peter Faulkner Foundation, named after the school’s retired former director of sport.
Tickets cost £3 for adults, £2 for children and may be purchased at the door or in advance from the school office.
