A WINCHESTER woman has been banned from driving for 20 months after police stopped her near her home.
Amanda Stewart, 30, of Milland Road, Highcliffe, was caught on October 14, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.
Stewart was more than double the drink drive limit, at 83mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.
She later assaulted Pc Jane Beasley at North Walls police station. She admitted the charges.
Magistrates disqualified her for 20 months, fined her £100 with a victim surcharge of £20. For the assault she was fined £70.
