Four people have been arrested after a drugs raid in Hampshire.

It comes after officers burst into a house in Solent Drive, Hayling Island following information received from the community.

Once inside the officers found suspected Class A drugs along with a large amount of money and drugs paraphernalia.

Three men, aged 17,46 and 27 and a woman, aged 55, were arrested at the address on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

They have all been bailed pending further enquiries until January 16.

PC Sarah Parkins from the Hayling Island Safer Neighbourhoods team said: “We want to send out a clear message to those that sell and use illegal substances that this behaviour will not be tolerated and we will continue to take positive action to stamp it out.

“Hayling Island is a very safe place to live and we want to keep it that way. We take all complaints very seriously and will continue to work closely with our communities.”

If you have any information about drugs in your community you should contact your local Safer Neighbourhoods team by phoning 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
