A FORMER children’s home owned by cash-strapped Southampton City Council, has been sold post auction to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The property at 52-54 Seagarth Lane, Shirley, was sold for an undisclosed sum through regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson. It had a guide price of £320,000. It was a children’s home before being used as offices by charities and the council.
