A TV soap star will carry out the Christmas Lights switch on in a Hampshire city this week.
The Portsmouth Christmas lights event takes place at Cascades Shopping Centre on Thursday.
The Christmas Lights will be switched on at 5.30pm by Marcus Patrick (Ben Davies from Hollyoaks) who is starring in the pantomime Snow White at the Kings Theatre this year.
He will be joined by Jen Pringle (Milkshake! on Channel 5) and the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth.
Cascades’ Christmas tree lights switch-on is at 5.45pm followed by a firework finale at 6pm and autograph signings from 6.15pm.
