A MANAGER of a charity shop accused of stealing more than £7,000 that was destined for care has been acquitted.
Jurors at Southampton Crown Court took just over three hours to clear Susan McVeigh, 52, of taking the cash from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) while she was in charge of the Ringwood shop.
McVeigh, of Bishop Court, Ringwood, had denied one charge of theft totalling £7,288.32 between September 4 and November 15, 2011.
