FLOODING is preventing some Hampshire residents from leaving their homes.

Villagers in Burley cannot use Honey Lane due to flooding as a result of the heavy rain overnight.

Many are leaving their vehicles in nearby lanes and continuing on foot.

It is believed the flooding is being caused by a blocked culvert.
