Woman cut free from wreckage after crash
A WOMAN had to be cut free from a car following a crash on a Hampshire road.
Fire crews worked to remove the woman from the silver Peugeot 106 hatchback, after it collided with a Honda CRV estate as it turned into Barton Drive from Grange Road in Hedge End, near to the Botleigh Grange Hotel.
Ambulances were also called to the scene, but it is understood the woman only suffered minor injuries and no one else was seriously hurt in the incident, at 8.37am, which is thought to have been partly caused by glare from the low sun.
Highways Agency officials were called to clear oil spilled onto the road, which was fully reopened by 10.30am.
