A man has been remanded in custody charged with 11 offences, including attempted murder and five counts of rape.
Dean Goodwin, 32, appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court accused of a string of charges linked to separate incidents in Dorset and Hampshire.
Four of the rape charges and the offence of false imprisonment are alleged to have taken place in Poole on November 23.
The charges of attempted murder, rape, robbery and sexual assault are alleged to have taken place in Andover three days later.
Goodwin is also charged with stealing food and drink in burglaries at a domestic address in Wimborne and at a commercial property in the Wallisdown area of Poole.
Goodwin, of Blackburn Road, Poole, did not make an application for bail and was remanded into custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on December 6, court officials said.
Dorset Police launched a major manhunt for Goodwin after a woman in her 20s was subjected to a serious sexual assault at an address in Poole last week.
He was arrested by armed police in Poole on Tuesday.
