A HAMPSHIRE man is facing life in prison today after being convicted of a murder he committed more than 30 years ago.

Jurors found Paul Taylor guilty yesterday of the brutal killing of Sally McGrath, 22, plus three charges of rape, one attempted rape and a serious sexual assault – all committed in 1979.

The builder had lived with the dark secret while he ran a fish and chip shop and raised a family in Hampshire. Today he will be handed a life sentence for his crimes.

Detectives fear Taylor, now aged 60, could been responsible for attacking more women and are now urging anyone who may have been his victim to come forward.
