Southampton's Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMS) has been awarded a lottery grant to help them run a support group for teens who are experiencing difficulties associated with their gender or sexual identity.
The grant of £9,996 was awarded from the Big Lottery Fund under the Awards for All scheme.
It will fund a new group which provides a safe place in which people aged 13-18 can explore and get support with gender and sexual identity issues for a year.
For more information about referring a young person to this group, contact Jo Pearce, Group Psychotherapist on 023 8063 6312.
