HAMPSHIRE health bosses are reminding patients to re-order their repeat prescriptions before the festive holidays.
Pharmacies across the county are changing their opening hours over the Christmas and New Year break, so those who will need medication are urged to to ensure they don’t run out.
Dr Stuart Ward, medical director at the Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth Primary Care Trust Cluster, said: “With all the preparations for Christmas it can be easy to overlook ordering any prescriptions you will need pver Christmas and New Year. Now is the time to do it though, giving your GP enough time to write the prescription and for you to collect it from the pharmacist.”
