More than 5,000 people met reindeer, sang carols and made Christmas wreaths in Victoria Park, Widnes.
The star attraction was Rudolph and his friends.
Greenall's Brass Band and roast chestnut stall created plenty of festive cheer.
Cllr Eddie Jones, board member for events, said: "It was lovely to feel such a community atmosphere."
The reindeers' visit was organised by Halton Council with funding from Appleton, Kingsway and Riverside local area forum.
