A pregnant woman was taken to hospital after being involved in a bus accident.
At 3.56pm yesterday, a single-decker bus operated by Thamesdown transport was struggling along Groundwell Road, towards Drove Road.
As it passed York Road it was in a collision with a small dark coloured car, which reversed out of York Road. The car left the scene without stopping.
A pregnant female passenger on the bus was taken by ambulance to Great Western Hospital.
Police are appealing for the driver of the car or any witnesses to contact police Sergeant Stephen Love of the Roads Policing Unit call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
