Murder probe after stabbing: Updates from scene

Police are continuing to question the 34-year-old man they arrested in connection with the death.
Deborah and David Taylor:
Deborah Taylor who lives on the street with her two children said: "I went out at 5.50pm to the shop and heard rowing.
"I couldn't make out what they were saying and when I came back I heard them rowing again."
Throughout the evening Mrs Taylor, 27, said she heard arguing on and off.
David Taylor said the incident left a strange atmosphere across the community on Christmas Day, with families unwilling to let their children out to play on their bikes which they got for Christmas.
Police were waking up neighbours at 1am on Christmas Day, according to Ben Erridge.
The 19-year-old said: "There was obviously a lot of drama out there. It drew a lot of people to their curtains."
Edward Cozens, 70, was coming back frim the Conservative Club just after midnight on Christmas Day and saw paramedics and police holding a drip, in the front garden.
"There was a chap there, with his chest bare. They were pumping away trying to resuscitate him.
"They worked hard on him for an hour but it didn't work."
Round the back of the terraced house is another police car with tape across an alley which runs across the back of the gardens.

Brian Eden who lives nearby said: “I've seen police here this morning, it's a shock because things don't normally happen like this here.”
Another resident living in the street, said the house is occupied by a family; a father mother and two girls. “I feel really sorry for all of them - it's a big tragedy”, they added.
Detectives from the Hampshire Major Investigation Team are leading enquiries into the death.

One woman who lives in the street said: “I just heard screaming and a woman calling for an ambulance. I didn't even want to look through the widow.”
The house has a police car outside and yellow police tape around a hedge at the front of the house.
A post-mortem to establish the cause of death was due to take place on Christmas Day, but the results are not yet known.

As reported earlier today, a 34-year-old man has been arrested in is being question by police.
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed in a Hampshire home.
Officers were called to an address in Hill Park Road, Gosport, where the 47-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
