THIEVES stole an antique watch from a 94-year-old man’s flat before taking a money box from the same sheltered accommodation block.
As well as the 1930s gold plated pocket watch, burglars stole cash from the pensioner’s apartment in Stoke Road, Gosport.
They also targeted a cash box in the communal area which was due to be used to help residents buy greetings cards.
The burglary took |place between 2pm on December 18 and 9am on December 19.
