Man threatened to jump off M3 bridge

A MAN threatened to jump off a motorway bridge near Winchester this morning.

Officers were called to Spitfire Bridge over the M3 but the incident was resolved by 6.45am.

No-one is believed to have been hurt.

I sincerely hope that the person involved gets the help that they need and can move on to enjoy a year full of happiness instead of despair.
