Police investigating a fire that caused extensive damage to Pier Café in Totland Bay on the Isle of Wight are appealing for more information.

The incident occurred around 10.30pm on  January 3 when smoke was seen coming from inside the café.

Police and Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene and initial enquiries indicate that it was a deliberate act which may be linked to a report of anti-social behaviour and damage to property in the same location shortly before the fire was discover.

I believe "lanch" should be "launch", sort your spelling out daily echo, it's like you've hired a bunch of monkeys to type stuff.

It would have been better if they had missed out the a and left in the "u"!
