Waste collections for black household waste bins, green recycling bins, food waste and glass/batteries in Eastleigh have resumed where possible today.
Advice to residents is to put their wheeled bins, glass boxes and food waste bins out as normal and leave them out until they have been emptied.
However some roads and parts of roads are proving to be more accessible than others so residents should leave their bins and containers out even if other bins in their area have been emptied. These bins and containers will be emptied as soon as it is safe to do so.
Garden waste collection scheduled for Friday today and tomorrow have been suspended, however we will collect an additional bag of garden waste for those customers on their next scheduled collection.
