A teenager was robbed of his mobile phone as he walked through a Southampton estate.

The 16-year-old victim was grabbed and assaulted by two males as he walked around the back of a block of flats in Foxcott Close, Weston, at around 7pm on Tuesday.

During the assault, the teenager's trouser pocket was ripped, before the thieves made off with his iPhone.

The victim was shaken but not injured in the incident.

The main attacker is described as white, aged 18-20 years and around 6ft tall of stocky build.

It is understood he made off with his accomplice along Kingsclere Avenue.
