Brockenhurst Royal British Legion raises £12,000

THE annual Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Brockenhurst and Sway raised more than £12,000 for the first time.
Branch secretary Mike Matthews said the sum collected last year was down to the strenuous efforts of organiser Tim Thomas and his band of helpers.
