Church hands over charity cheque

THE congregation of Braishfield United Reformed Church looked on as a cheque for £1,643.37 was presented to Tim Balantyne from Romsey Young Carers at a recent Sunday service.
The money was raised by holding a number of events, including coffee mornings, a Diamond Jubilee garden party, a sherry and mince pie evening and filling jars with small change.
