Fire crews battle house fire
FIRE crews from Southampton and Eastleigh were among those called out to a blaze in a row of terraced houses last night.
They were part of a 35-strong team called to tackle a fire on the first-floor of a mid-terrace home at 7.30pm.
Crews needed breathing apparatus and high pressure hoses as they battled the flames in Maisemore Gardens, Emsworth.
Teams from St Mary’s and Eastleigh fire station joined others from Cosham, Havant and Waterlooville.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
